Forums - Sony - microsoft to use PS3 home

or m$ could design their own version of home?

Shouldnt they be making people more productive during recessions instead of helping them freak out on home?

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

Lmao when the meeting turns into a dance off! I also like the site's multiple typos and the poll on the side talking about boobs and vaginal squirting. Classy!!

Guaranteed fake. Video conferencing and stuff has been around for ages, There is no reason for them to replace webcams for avatars and game controllers.

I've had a informal serious conference with 4 other co-workers for work before on Home Beta.  Not every employee has the equipment for video conferencing at home.  It worked fairly well other than the fact that we couldn't share files over the ps3.  We all went to 1 person's pad and just used Home to speak while we went over some information since it was our work from home day.  (PS3 was the only equipment we all 4 shared in common to do this)

Wouldn't a telephone do the same thing?

Microsoft Denies It's Using PlayStation Home To Virtually Hang Out
By Michael McWhertor, 4:40 PM on Mon Jan 5 2009, 1,937 views

"Despite reports to the contrary, Microsoft says that it won't be using the PlayStation Home service to hold virtual meetings. It has all the virtual meeting solutions it needs, thank you very much, Sony.

Microsoft reps tell CVG that a report from GAAP Web isn't exactly accurate, plugging away that it has "fantastic Microsoft-developed products and applications like Live Meeting and even Xbox Live Party" to meet its needs. Sure. I can see Microsoft execs and middle managers cursing and slandering each other in an Xbox Live Party. No really!"
