The only thing we know will come in 2009 is a ps3 price cut...but when?

I predict Q3

- DSi released worldwide along with a big software release in the same quarter or the one after release that is unannounced as of now

- Wii Sports Resort will be the best selling game of 2009

- Wii Sports Resort will launch worldwide in May along side one other MotionPlus enabled game, The Conduit, which will see sales of around 2.5 - 3 million lifetime

- There WILL be a PS3 price drop but later in the year rather than sooner

- The PS3 price drop won't boost the consoles sales as much as hoped but it will push the PS3 back into the fight for second place

- PSP will see another revision and price drop, sales will continue to fall as the DSi and iTouch saturate the markets needs

- DS will see slightly fewer sales than 2008, suggesting that 2008 was its peak year

- Microsoft will show a number of expanded audience title such as 'lips' at their E3 press conference and make fanboys angry however it may very well be the biggest as microsoft wants to 'Break the Bank'

- Nintendo's press conference won't be as bad as 2008 but all the core will get is one or two big announcements and one movie reel all which will be 1/4 or the whole show

- Sony's E3 press conference will be focused on their holiday line up GT5, GoW3 and then a fair amount of EyePet

- Motion Plus will usher in A LOT of new 1st and 3rd party games alike

- Sony and Microsoft will drop small hints of new hardware but no announcements will be made

Wii - Zelda is announced (Ive been saying this for a LONG time)

Wii - Another revival of an old Nintendo franchise

PS3 - No price cut

360 - Passes Ps3 by 10 million

DS - 110 million (Hell maybe more)

No, I just want a prediction that isn't boring.  Most of yours are things that absolutely won't happen or things that have already been confirmed.  Those aren't good predictions.  What's the fun in predicting something I already know?  True, I guess it isn't actually certain, but common sense tells you what likely is or isn't going to happen on some of those.

Good predictions would be:

• What console Kingdom Hearts goes to
• PSP total sales for the year
• Which version of SFIV will sell more

Those are things that are not certain or generally assumed.
