Yes, imo, MGS4 deserved a nod.
However, GTAIV is still only hated by a small niche community. Most gamers, and indeed most reviews loved it, myself included. It also deserved the nod, and never the twain shall meet.

I respect your opinion. I also enjoyed MGS4 more, however, I must admit, I don't think GTAIV was much worse of a game, and I think Fallout 3 tops them both.
That is just my opinion. Kotaku doesn't have an opinion, only its individual bloggers do.

I just thought blaming their lists on console biased was a bit cliche and predictable. Something I would expect from a more meaningless, less charasmatic poster, but a wasted opinion from you is rare, and that most certainly was one. Cliche. Well I'm impressed that you managed to compliment and insult me in such an entwined manner. Quite impressive. I waste my posts often, that's why I'm coming up on 7,000 of them. You can't honestly look at this list and not see bias towards one console or another, could you? And besides, where's the Wii in this? I don't see a single nomination for Brawl, and Little Big Planet is fairly underrepresented compared to games that aren't even as good (Grand Theft Auto IV, Gears of War 2). Both games are great, but both have such shitty online (from both a technical and community standpoint) and they certainly don't have good replay value. Those are just my opinions. It wouldn't really be such a strange list if it didn't completely differ from what other gaming sites were saying (GTA4 is way more represented in their picks than other sites). At least Brian Ashcraft had some interesting and original picks for GOTY.
