If GTA IV is up for GotY, MGS4 should be up right next to it. 

Nothing against GTA IV, but by a long shot it's worse than MGS4.

I mean, look at other categories.

Gears of War 2 for best story.  Wat?  Gears 2 for best story?  Puh-lease.

I respect your opinion. I also enjoyed MGS4 more, however, I must admit, I don't think GTAIV was much worse of a game, and I think Fallout 3 tops them both.

That is just my opinion. Kotaku doesn't have an opinion, only its individual bloggers do.
