I'm trying to play songs from a USB memory stick in a game, is it possible or does have to be from the HDD?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I've only got stuff off the HDD to work. In fact things I've downloaded from my media center didn't work, only things loaded directly to PS3(ripped, downloaded from internet never tried a card or mp3 player).

Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move, and Kinect.
