I hope you're not teasing me!

Genji was one of my favourite games on the PS2/PS3 and it was actually one of the reasons I upgraded.

Of course i think i may be bias towards Days of the Blade because its only 7 dollars on amazon now so....Let the Buget Crusade Re-Begin!

Tease.

^- uhm.... O.o ehehe....

Resistance 1 is great espeacially if u play if with someone, me and my brother played it alot and it was really fun. Resistance 2 imo is alot better yes the singel player is quite short but the coop and 60 players online is great so overall Resistance 2 is worth the money imo.

Am I the only one who prefers the SP of RFOM over Resistance 2? (R2's onli is much better though).

There are not many games that I have played through as much as Resistance. I guess I like it...

Best grenades in a video game ever. And I love grenades.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

I found watching laundry tumble in a washing machine more entertaining. Which is pretty entertaining, mind you.

isn't it a bit late to rant about a launch title which sequel has been voted GOTY by at least one major publication.

Uhm no... not when I just picked up my PS3... just tried out Res 1... almost wasted my money cause it was so cheap and outright buying it but I'm glad I didn't now... and thing is everyone hyped this game and Res 2 and playing this makes me wonder if Res 2 could really be all that great... I've only heard bad word of mouth about Res 2...

-edit-

In fact if it was this 9/10 amazing game that everyone made it out to be then it should still live up to this now... but it doesn't so ranting is still allowed...

It's actually a very good shootemup if you ask me. I had the opposite effect of enjoying the game after hearing so much fanboy hate against it.

I'm sorry you didn't care for it max ^^ I personally loved the title! Everyone criticized the hell out of it for it's color and cookie cutter level design, but shit like that never really bothered me :P The games weapons are so amazing, and that's where I found the meat of the experience. And I'm not sure if it's me, but I found it's visual's to be better than Halo 3's xD Which I thought was pretty sad at the time.

Resistance does an AMAZING job of putting you in some very large scale battles, with TON's of cross fire, many opponents on screen, etc etc etc. I'm not sure of what it is your looking for in your first person shooter, but it's obvious that Resistance isn't for you :P

From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.

Firstly, Insomniac aren't the second best PS3 team, they're the third. (Santa Monica and Team ICO take the first two spots)

Secondly, don't worry. Resistance 2 improved upon Resistance in every conceivable way. But they made you only carry two weapons at a time, and the controls on the whole became more standard FPS. They chucked individuality out of the window a little, but the core gameplay is great.

The campaign could use some work, the story is still a mess, the graphics are better, online has been boosted to 60 competitive, 8 co-op. There is a co-op campaign that you can play with:

1) Another player on the same system
2) Up to seven other people online
3) Another player on the same system AND up to six other people online.

Same with competitive, but change the 7 to a 59 and the six to a 58.

So yeah, it's worth a purchase.
