Forums - Sony - Killzone 2, Bonus...Bonus....and...more bonus! *Exclusive KZ2 Gear*

Lets begin with best buy...

Killzone 2 Best Buy Pre-Order Bonus Announced

PSUNews: "Sony has announced an exclusive pre-order bonus for gamers who pre-order Killzone 2 at Best Buy.

According to the press release, customers who pre-order Killzone 2 at Best Buy will receive an exclusive PS3 theme. For those who pre-order the title at Best Buy's online store, you'll receive an email voucher code.

Since PS3 themes are free and there is already a wide selection of user created Killzone 2 themes out, we suggest anyone pre-ordering online to head to Amazon.com as their pre-order bonus includes an exclusive Home avatar outfit.

Killzone 2 is shipping exclusively for the PlayStation 3 in February 2009."

--------------

And now Amazon...

Amazon offers exclusive Home attire with Killzone 2 pre-order

PSUNews: "It's always great when two icons go side-by-side in order to create something magical, isn't it? Peanut butter has jelly, Ratchet has Clank, Bread has a toaster and now Killzone 2 has Home. By now, you're probably very confused and that's ok, because so am I. However, since 132% of you are going to go ahead and pre-order Killzone 2, you might as well do so at Amazon.com

According to the pre-order page at Amazon, consumers who choose to preorder the product through their website will receive some very cool virtual gear for PlayStation Home. This includes an entire collection of Helghan digs and some ISA soldier gear. Of course, you could always mix-and-match these two warriors and create your own hybrid creation, but what's the fun in that?

Anyway, we've included pictures below in order for you to check out what I've been talking about."

------------

And Last but not least...GameStop...

GameStop offers Killzone 2 demo for pre-orders

PSUNews: "It's always nice to be given the ability to choose between three solid pre-order bonuses depending on who you give your money to. Amazon.com is offering up Home costumes for Killzone 2 pre-orders while Best Buy is throwing PS3 Themes to its consumers. However, we feel that perhaps GameStop may have the most to offer when it comes to Killzone 2 fanatics.

According to the official GameStop website, shoppers who decide to pre-order through their website or within their stores will receive access to the Killzone 2 demo coming some time in February. We've included the information from the website below.
Bonus Details Reserve Killzone 2 and receive exclusive access to the Killzone 2 Demo. You must have access to Playstation Network in order to redeem promotion code. Available for online and in-store customers, while supplies last.

Online Customers: Codes granting access to the Killzone 2 Demo will be sent via email starting on February 3rd.

In-Store Pickup / Store Customers: A rave card granting access to the Killzone 2 Demo will be available at time of game reservation.

So, now you have three options to choose from. Which sounds the most enticing to you?"

Agreed lol!

Wow that's pretty shitty, I wish they could of done the same thing Ubisoft did for PoP, get the CE when you pre-order it.

I really hope some other store gets something else, cause right now I'm not impressed what so ever.

You see this here could become a problem.

Where gamers start expecting stuff everytime they pre-order something.

It will drive companies to greater levels of competition no doubt, but where will it end!?

Offering back-rubs when you come to collect the game in store? Complimentary mints in the game box when you open it?

Come to think of it, that doesn't sound half bad...

This stuff looks terrible! I'm not impressed what so ever.

I pay fricken 400$ to buy my PS3, another grand for a freakin TV and 60$ for the damn HDMI cables. And then after that I have to pay 60$ for games that last 10-15 hours. I don't think it would kill them to give me something that I can actually use when I pre-order their games.

Whoa....chill man lol..

I'm not pissed I'm just saying.

amazon for sure! =)

If I were getting any, I'd definitely go for the one with the demo.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
