Forums - Gaming - What DON'T you like about the console you own?

Xbox 360:

-Disc Tray
-You have to pay to get your name changed
-Can't have multiple people in a video chat
-Expensive accessories like hard drives and wireless adapters

The 360 is my favorite nextgen console though and I play it everyday. It is just some little things I wish were tweaked, nothing big.

PS3- no BC, the PSN doesn`t work on Brasil, the PSN(the US version I use) lags and drops all the time, the games are too expensive in BR and I have to ask someone who´s going abroad to get the ones I want.

How much are games in USD there?

120$ more or less. It depends on the exchange, but in local currency is R$240-280.

I still like keyboard and mouse controls better to all gamepads, but I still play consoles instead of PCs so I can play with friends. So there's something I dislike about all consoles. In addition, I hate the fact that console manufacturers don't allow people to buy dedicated servers for their games, and a lot of them don't allow server searches. Part of what makes PC gaming so fun is finding a server you really like and hanging out there, something that the quickmatch-obsessed multiplayer modes really miss out on.

I'm not going to do a console-by-console breakdown, because a lot of it is just the standard fanboy ravings on each side about why the other side sucks. One thing I will say, though, is that the DS seems to have a terrible time dealing with any network encryption. Even protocols that it says it supports will sometimes come up "unsupported".

Wii-Not enough good games, poor online, certain games force motion/IR controls
PS3-Not enough good games, too many overrated games(IMO, thats why I rent first), mandatory installs.
XBOX-pay for XBL, expensive accessories, hate lugging around the power brick when moving the system.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I don’t like that I can’t relax about my 360 because of RRoD. And I keep on thinking that it will get one again after I get it fixed :S

And as for my Wii the main page screen got a bit bad because I had it plugged in to the internet and had the 24h online mode. Bad luck I guess as this is not something you hear allot about.

other than that i am happy

Wich one?

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

360 - Lack of decent exclusive content, cluttered dashboard with a lot of advertising.
PS3 - Can't chat with people who're playing different games
Wii - Wii remote in general
PC - Mouse and keyboard takes too much effort when I work on a PC all day. Installs, system requirement, and stupid laptop overheating when the vents get closed and it starts burning my lap.

The Wii got rid of the Nintendo seal of quality and has allowed games like Dead Space: Extraction to be released for it.

Wii- it's- gotten very noisy
the wii mote
friend codes (haven't played games online with the wii because of this

Ps3 broke down three time
mandatory installs (wasn't so bad but when you are on your 4th ps3 the idea of installing some games again just makes me sad. I had the first 2 times installed all the games I had in one go to get it over with and not worry when I want to play the games. considering that I hadn't gotten through all the games either time I won't do that again but now have to wait when games installs
lack of trophies support in older games
long installs for updates

Wii- 3rd parties "mostly" throw half ass support at it Ninty needs to do what they did during the NES Era concerning this.

D.S. To many games to choose from that are of high quality. Guess that is more of a happy complaint, but still I will never get every game I find interesting on it.
