Oh boy...this reeks of "troll thread".

I'll ask you, what EXCITING news have you heard on the PS3 and 360 front? What about DS and PSP? Its the end of the year, big news will be scarce till Spring hits, then all the trade shows and conferences start.

Its a QUIET time. Of course there aren't any exciting news for ANY of the consoles.

yeah, and there's an EASY counter to this argument : go to the Nintendo Chanel and see how many hours people spend on games (100 of hours on Zelda, Mario, Guitar Hero or even Wii Sport and Wii Fit) + sales of games on Wii (very high attach ration...)

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

I'm playing some GameCube games, but more because i have to than because i want to, since my primary memory card went belly-up, and only about half of what was on there was backed up

Anyway, your ailment is part of the cause for some of the Wii hate you see from the big media outlets. They have nothing to show that will really bring in the hits, so they flame instead. But this is the new way of Nintendo, for better or for worse. I suppose they want consumers focusing on what is already out, instead of pining over that one game that's a year or more away
