But... Nintendo has made more games in a short amount of time then they ever did before... so games being produced faster with higher overall rankings? Wow they're doing quite well and using that truckload of money for good things :)

I love how people assume Nintendo is slacking on how many games they put out yet just forget how they dominated last year with games with core title after core title...

I cannot understand talk about Nintendo´s games being worse in quality. I guess it all comes down to personal taste but to me they have clearly done some stellar work so far on Wii.
Super Mario Galaxy= amazing, among the best games of all time
Mario Kart Wii= by far my favorite Mario Kart yet, haven´t played SMK though.

I also must defend Animal Crossing City Folk. Many say that it was a cheap rehash of the original and while I agree that most things are the same I still think that it is a lovely game and better than the original. I never played Wild World and I think that City Folk contain enough new stuff if you missed out on that title to justify a purchase. I love it anyway.

I really think it comes down to jealousy and envy among some people since Nintendo have done so great this generation. Some may dislike the new concept of the Wii series but Nintendo has done their old classic series justice this generation besides the Wii series.

Okay, just two things.

1) The average doesn't really mean anything. If the top titles are as many, and as good as before, but there are also some new "completely and utter crap" (I don't think so) titles, why the worry?

2) Most people use the wheel/wiimote in those games - I'm certain of it. You're one of the few :P

And you play Mario Kart Wii with the Gamecube controller over the Wiimote? Whoa!

I missed out on the Gamecube game but played Wild World a lot.

 

City Folk is still freaking addicitive to me. I think Wii Speak, the city, and a bunch of improved/new features made CF very fun. Even though it feels like a remake of Wild World, I can't see myself getting back to WW. Not to mention the online in WW was kinda boring anyways.

 

EDIT: Although, I still think Nintendo could of have done a lot more with CF. But I am still satisified with it so oh well.
