    That's 37 games in 06 from SONY
20 of which were technically for Home Consoles [this counts PSN games for PS3]
4 of which were for PS3

As you can see, Nintendo's handheld support is unparralled....
8 Home consoles games, an army load off handheld games....
4 games were for the Wii

So for consoles it's a tie. But since we assume that PS3 dev is harder and more costly than Wii then we can say that Nintendo focuses alot of it's work force on Handhelds as apposed to SONY.

But if we are only looking at consoles.... and in more recent times

PS3 08- 13 Games

Buzz! Quiz TV

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Hot Shots Golf 5

MLB 08: The Show

NBA '09: The Inside

SingStar Vol 2

SingStar Vol 3 Party Edition

LittleBigPlanet

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift

Afrika (Japan)

Aquanaut's Holiday: Hidden Memories (Japan)

Resistance 2

SOCOM: Confrontation

And 11 PSN games for PS3

Dark Mist

Echochrome

Elefunk

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

PixelJunk Eden

PixelJunk Monsters

Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest For Booty

Siren: Blood Curse

Sky Diving

The Last Guy

Wipeout HD

Wii09 - 14Games

Wii Chess (Europe only)

Endless Ocean

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Mario Kart Wii

Wii Fit

Mario Super Sluggers

Wario Land: Shake It!

Fatal Frame IV (Japan only)

Captain Rainbow (Japan only)

Wii Music

Disaster: Day of Crisis (Japan/PAL Region only)

Animal Crossing: City Folk

New Play Control! Pikmin

New Play Control! Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat

Here the Wii really only has 1 more game than the PS3.... this is when we don't count PSN

In conclusion - We see just about as many console games from SONY [if not more]

as we do from Nintendo in recent years. However SONY's PS3 dev cost are higher and

Nintendo seems to focus more on their handhelds. Sorry but I don't see anything I can post for WiiWare....

No, it is not complete. You forgot about Camelot and NEAD Tokyo.

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

^^^NEAD tokyo is one of the 6 teams of Nintendo EAD

EPIC (L)

I want to know what the bolded studios are doing at the moment.

Bigbig may be working with Evolution Studios creating the new Motorstorm DLC. Or perhaps they're working on a PSP title.

Incognito may well have only a few employees left and not have the resources to begin development of a fully fledged new title.

As for the other studios, many of them have just recently released a new title, so that's lots of devs just sitting around twiddiling their thumbs. I presume a new swath of games are now underway, or in the pre-production stage for Sony.

---------------
This list is stunning, but we already knew this or i did.
Let's not forget some of second party studios.

Media Molecule - have 3 game contract with SOny, not counting LBP.
Eat Sleep Play - 3 game deal with Sony
High Impact games - make Ratchet for PSP
Sucker Punch - they are next in line to be acquired and if Sony wasn't in situation they are, that would already be happening. MS tried to acquire them couple of years ago they just said thx but no thx. INfamous is their next game. Sly Cooper developer.
There are few more like Insomniac and what not.

Sony has best and largest first party/second party, don't try to spin that otherwise you are either idot or fanboy.

Name the M$ 1sy parties that wipe the floor with any of Nintendo or Sony's 1st parties pal, then we'll have a decent debate. Otherwise don't spin things because it doesn't favor your tastes.

Since you started this, and if you wish to humor me...which companies 1st parties do you want to call out as better than the others?

Sony has more gaming studios than Nintendo and Microsoft, but overall , Nintendo has the best developers and first party games.

Microsoft is different, they have almost no first party studio, and they are closing their best studio (Ensemble studio). That says that they are not interested by developping games.

Ensemble has been a RTS only studio, in a time when RTS's are not a big part of console gaming. So keeping a separate studio didn't seem like sense to them.  Saying it's there best studio is wrong also. Lionhead, Turn 10, and Rare are all good studios. Instead of people bitching if they played Viva Pinata, and the new Banjo they would change their tune
