Remember, Killzone 2 will be released virtually unchallenged gaining a lot of attention, this will sell pretty well, oh and the fact it has the potential to be a stunning game.

Heres what I'm thinking
Killzone 2 - 4-5 million
Infamous - Uncharted level sales
Heavy Rain - maybe a million if its lucky, to niche for mainstream success
GOW 3 - yeah, between 4 and 5 million
FF Versus - Does it have a final fantasy in the title? Yeah. Plus this is considered to be more of a partner to vanilla 13, rather then a spinoff
GT5 - 10 million. Always bet on Turismo
Team ICO's overhyped trash - Overhyped? Maybe. Trash? You better be joking. should do around a million
WKC - between 1.5 and 2 million
Uncharted 2- The first was recognized as one of the best ps3 titles, and managed to crawl up to 2.5 million and will continue to sell. Should do between 3-4 million in the end, but it will take a some time
Time for hype

Since there is nothing of it calling it trash or calling it great both carry equal weight...

Agree, very much so. +2

This should be a fun thread to bump later on, so let's make some predictions...
A lot of people are doing the classic forum thing of posting what they want to see happen, rather than stopping to think about sales. I'm looking at the sales of PS3 exclusives in the game database, and truth to tell, they're not particularly impressive. Only TWO exclusives have actually sold 3m copies, and both benefitted from unusual circumstances. Motorstorm was heavily, heavily bundled, while Resistance was helped by being the only desirable launch title. The next two exclusives (Grant Turismo Prologue at 2.60m and Uncharted at 2.39m) were both heavily bundled as well. So the PS3 doesn't exactly have a great track record of selling exclusive software right now...
Gran Turismo 5 will easily sell 3m copies. Nothing more to be said on that.
I think God of War has the best chance out of the other games to hit 3m. All it has to do is equal the success of its two predecessors, and Uncharted/Devil May Cry has shown that those type of action games can do well with the PS3. I also think that God of War has a strong chance of being the big holiday game for Sony at the end of 2009, and receiving lots of advertising/bundling/etc. to help out. Probably about an 80% chance this game makes it.
Killzone 2 is getting a ton of hype right now, but I don't think this game will get anywhere close to 3m sold. It's practically a new IP given how badly the previous game did, it doesn't come from a top development team, it's releasing in a slow period of the year, and Resistance 2 has been struggling enormously as the big holiday FPS. There's really no evidence that this game will be a huge hit, beyond the hopes of online fanboys. Outside chance, not likely though - would need massive bundling help.
Uncharted wouldn't be anywhere close to its current sales without gigantic bundling help, so I'm not exactly going out on a limb here by saying its sequel probably won't hit 3m either. Plus, there's no guarantee this game will release any time soon.
Final Fantasy Versus is kinda pointless to speculate over, since we've never seen so much as a single non-CGI screenshot of this game, and it assuredly won't be releasing until late 2010 at the very earliest. Anyone holding out hope for this game right now is really grasping at straws.
The other games are simply too small and/or niche to come anywhere close. (They might be really good games, but they won't sell 3m copies.) So I would say one definite game, one likely, and a few longshot titles overall. Gran Turismo 5 is overwhelmingly the biggest game on the horizon for the PS3 right now. Sony desperately needs this game out in time for the 2009 holiday season.
End of 2008 totals: Wii 42m, 360 24m, PS3 18.5m (made Jan. 4, 2008)
@RPG, there are only 3 games on your whole list worthy of selling 3 million.

Yakuza 3 will do about 600k in Japan, it's not confirmed if it'll come out in the West (Please bring it and Kenzan over Sega) MLB The Show has a chance as it's the best baseball game available, they also need to release this in Japan, why Sony didn't release the '08 version, no one knows. NBA The Inside, no chance, the game is ok, but NBA Live and 2k are better Eye Pet, bleh, don't care either way.

yeah yakuza was if they throw it in NA/others. with the proper marketing i believe alot of GTA fans would buy into it.
mlb is a great game just a matter of time before it starts selling like crack, nba has a bit to go before its awesomesauce.
My "Predictions"
Killzone 2 - I have a "Hunch" if you will, that it will sell really well.
Infamous - No, but I think it will be a definite jump start in the right direction of a future "Got to Have" series.
Heavy Rain - No, I have a feeling this one won't sell all that well.
GOW 3 - 3 million+
FF Versus - 3 million+
GT5 - 3 million+
Team ICO's - No, even though it's established, some reason I don't see it going up to 3 million, but Close.
WKC - No, unfortunately this is a JRPG that will make a statement, but it won't sell as well as most were hoping for.
Uncharted 2 - 3 million+
As for the state of the PS3, most of the people who own a PS3 at this time have it for 1 of these games mentioned if not most of them.
So I have a feeling that each game I stated "3 Million+" will definitely stand. You can quote me on this if you wish :)
Edit: put some more info in.
There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

Its Versus XIII in my case for the main one.
God of War III and Uncharted 2 and the rest are just Bonuses in my opinion, really, really awesome bonuses. :D
