No, why would I feel outrage over getting one of the greatest games seen this decade?  The closest I got to "outraged" was when I found out that it was going to the PS2 as well, but that was more resignation that the PS2 had too big an audience for Capcom NOT to do it. 

I presumed that you were trying to imply something about RE4 vis-a-vis the AO rating debate.  If that's not what you were trying to get at, then what is the "outrage" question about?

There is something wrong if changing a rating is all it will take to ruin a game.

But you know what, Legend, fine. In a world where AO ratings don't mean instant death for games, then sure, both Gears and RE4 should get AO. Happy? I never said it shouldn't.

[edit:  I am willing to go this far NOT because of the chainsaws, because there are too few in RE4 to go past M, but because there are many other disturbing scenes and themes in that game which MAY justify an AO rating if AO is not relegated to unclean status.  Gears is more violent and gory but RE4 is more disturbing with more adult themes.]

So a game in which you're sometimes forced to point a shotgun at someone's head and shoot, that has enemies with potato sacks on their heads and look like they came off the set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre coming at you with chainsaws, etc, and suddenly you're saying it matters who's using the chainsaw on who?  You don't see how basically making excuses for a game might make people question you?  Especially considering two of the consoles the game is on and some of your previous posts?

RE4 is very violent, there is no doubting that. But if you think it is more violent than Gears of War you are sadly mistaken. However RE4 is more disturbing and horrifying; see the edit to my last post.
