I bought Prince of Persia for PS3.

Animal Crossing: City Folk. Extremely disappointed.
World of Goo: Very Fun but a bit overpriced IMO.
Little Big Planet: Incredible Game
Gears of War 2: Only looked at intro so far. Looks a lot like 1 :)
Prince of Persia: Played first 20 minutes or so. Looks interesting.
Lips: Wife likes it and the music selection is pretty good right out of the gate.

I have spent almost the entire holiday playing Little Big Planet. It is truly an astounding game and a must-own for any self-respecting PS3 owner.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

I bought my girlfriend a Nintendo DS and Trauma Center 2 (she really wanted to play that game).

My mom bought each of my two nephews a Xbox 360 arcade. One of them got 2 games from his parents to go along with it. The other also got 2 games from his parents and 8 others from other people (most of them from a rich aunt of mine).

Oddly enough both of them wanted one because they loved playing the game Crackdown at my place. They're only 8 and shouldn't have been playing it but saw me playing it one time and wanted to try it.

Games

Geard of war 2 (awesome)
Left 4 dead (haven't played it yet)
Banjo Nuts and Bolts (awesome)
Ninja Gaiden 2 (awesomly frustrating)

DVD's

The Dark Night
Princess mononoke

Books

Filmmakers Bible
The Last Watch
The Chasers Annual
Some cook book I can't remember off hand

Around the Network

Almost all of the 360 games I recently got.

Brother's in Arms: Hell's Highway- Awesome FPS with cinematic feel, cover system, and flank system.
The Orange Box- The best deal in gaming history. I'm playing Half-Life 2 atm.
Mass Effect- Just breathtakingly awesome. I hope the sequel turns out as great next year if not better.
Lego Indiana Jones/Kung Fu Panda- Came with the 360 Pro bundle I got. Haven't played Lego Indiana Jones, but I can tell it's basically the same as the Wii version I have but with achievements. Kung Fu Panda is actually quite fun despite my originally low expectations, heard it's pretty short though. Haven't seen the movie, but now I think I might just see it now.
Chronicles of Riddick: Escpae From Butcher's Bay (XBOX)- Haven't played it since I haven't gotten my 360 hooked up yet. I thought the movie was kinda crappy, but I remember hearing a lot of good things about this game when it first came out.

Bought for myself
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts- If you're a fellow 360 owner and a fan of Banjo-Kazooie, go out and buy this game today. Now!
Lost Odyssey- Haven't played yet.
The Darkness- Cool atmospheric FPS with a neat use of creatures from the dark.

Overall, the only game I didn't get that was on my "to get list" was Soul Calibur IV. I hope to get it soon.

a new wii console

call of duty 5 (wii)

Nintendo Network ID: Sherlock99

Oops as for me I got Fallout 3 and oddly enough a modded PSP. I'm using the PSP to watch tv shows since I haven't looked into anything else for it. I'm very impressed with its screen and sound.

Chrono Trigger DS
Sam and Max Episode One
Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party

I'm pretty happy with what I got.

I'm also going to use some of the money I got to get R:FoM (I know I said I don't like the game but need it for something else), CoD4 (not a huge fan of this one either, but want to see a few things), and Fallout 3 (excited about this one).

-edit-

And since my birthday is near the holidays, I also got these:

Little Big Planet
Saint's Row II

Super Mario RPG (virtual console)

No Joke. Other than that I did not get anything. I already had every PS3/360 game I wanted, otherwise I would have went out and bought more.

The cool thing is, my grandmother saw that we had a Wii when she came to visit so she sent me a Wii Points Card for christmas. I had not told her the Wii unit was not ours, but a lent system from one of the parents of my wifes daycare children. Amazingly, the parents told us that we can keep the Wii as a present. Now that I know the system will not be leaving I am going to actually be able to enjoy the only good part about the system. 2009 will offically be the year of PSWii at my house thanks to virtual console.
