Owning a PS3 and 360 is really stupid IMO. Too similar. An HD console (you seem to be leaning to the 360) and a Wii is the way to go.

They are similar? Really Soriku? How on earth would you know, you have never played EITHER ONE OF THEM.

Yeah I have.

Most of their games are already multiplatform. Having both is pointless unless you own all 3. You need an HD console and a Wii.

"Having both is pointless, but having a wii and ps360 isnt"

How does that sound correct in any way?

Assuming you own all 3 because you want all 3. That's fine as you still have a Wii along with an HD consoles (well, both of them). But owning both HD consoles and no Wii = fail.

Why ? i have a wii but i think it sucks, but i should just have it because if i didn't it'd be fail ? that makes no sense.

Oh hell no, you just DID not...Such Blasphmey...

Never trade in a console. You'll always regret it. Barring exceptions like the Virtual Boy, of course.

Just save up for the Wii or DS, so you can have them in addition to your other consoles.

Inevitably, there will be moments that you regretted selling your console. You may miss playing LBP. You may want to replay MGS4. You may want to pickup Uncharted 2, but can't. It'll happen, and you'll be kicking yourself.

For the $150 you'll get at GameStop, or the $250 you'll get on Ebay, it's just not worth it.

Sold my 360 a year ago after it was repaired two times. Now playing on my PS3 and i think it had and has the better X-clusives. I would not sell my PS3.

I agree. To add something, games might get announced you want to play.
I haven't played my Wii in months, I only own 1 game, but I'm glad I didn't sell it, now I can still play DQ X.

Don't sell it to gamestop.

Sell it privately, or on ebay or something, you'll get a lot more money for it that way. Gamestop will offer you a fraction what it is worth then try and sell it for 3 times what they paid you for it.

this is the correct answer. but like other people have said, trading in a console mid generation is about the stupidest thing you can do as a gamer.

I personally think ps3 has no bright future! a Wii360 is surely better than a ps3. nearly the same price, but better gameplay.

i have to say that is excellent logic you are using.

Myself, im the opposite and don't want 360 (RROD) but the PS3 idea seems less interesting as market share depletes.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

...how about instead of buying a Wii now you'll wait till the games you want for it actually come out? save some money and have both.

And fix that connection problem. Seriously. In the end, you'll regret selling your console. ANY console, be it 360, Wii, or PS3.

Besides, it's not an easily rebought 60gb.

If PS2 B/C isn't in the PS3 by generation's end, I'll never buy a Sony product again. Though the only Sony products I buy are the gaming systems, but still.

We already saw the screenshot of it, I'd be surprised if it really didn't come to the PS3.
