Secret rings looks like ass.
Unleashed looks like a sonic game with a part that is an ass.

SO its all ass or half ass.

I like Sonic Unleashed better.

In my honest opinion, Secret Rings was MUCH better than what people give it credit for. Its insanely fun, it has great graphics, an amazing concept, great music and solid gameplay. True, there are still some issues, especially with controls. But it annoys me how the game gets piled up along with the rest of the games and is used as an example of why Sonic games suck.

The reality is that the game is the best reviewed Sonic game in a long time and proved that once Sega gets it they REALLY get it.

I haven't played Unleashed, but I heard its much better than expected, despite the Werehog levels.

They're both pretty average games. Get both. Secret Rings shouldn't be very expensive by now. Knowing you, though, that information is rather irrelevant.

The controls of Secret Rings are enough to give me a bad taste in the mouth for that game. Sonic is as hard as hell to turn and backstep with the Wii Remote held sideways.

Sonic Unleashed has much more intuitive controls. The gameplay for the werehog levels are at least solid, IMO.

I just tried the demo today, I'm going to pick the game up tommorow, granted the demo only let you play Sonic and not the Werehog.... err

Sonic Unleashed is much better, Secret Rings is much more annoying than any part of Sonic Unleashed!

of course, secret rings is still a good game, but i think Sonic Unleashed will be even more popular!

Secret Rings controls take some getting used too. But if all else fails go pick up Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on the GC. Easily one of the best sonic games ever created.

I have yet to play a Sonic game this gen, though i admit i want to give sonic unleashed a rent.
