I have seen more threads lately with peole calling for the end of the Wii and bashing it and whatnot... It kinda reminds me of the aftermath of the May NDP... You know the month GTA4 was supposed to kill the Wii and send HD console into the mainstream. I remember it was really bad then too.

The better the wii does the more meltdowns then incur.... very entertaining.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

dont get me wrong I love my hd console, I just think its humorous the people are actually scared of the Wii.

if they are hating on the wii let them i say, you cant change their mind anyways, when nintendo releases some hardcore games on wii they will find some thing else to hate on wii, they will never change, it is meaningless arguing with them, that is why i avoid threads like the ones you are complaining about.

the scare comes with just a simple thing:

Wii is getting more successful, so more third parties will take notice and actually make good will games. and if they get successful (with that huge install base) they will keep doing wii games and less PS360 games.

All three consoles deserve great games

HD consoles aren't in the 'mainstream'??? I suppose it was probably due to lack of big games such as GTA4, right?


I would cry you a river over it, but I'm too busy playing Fallout 3, Prince of Persia, Gears 2, LBP and Far Cry 2.
