I don't see why it wouldn't be a solid game. It looks very good to me. It won't get above 80% on gamerankings, though.

Amazon Japan has this, and since I cannot read Japanese all this tells me is that some people loved it and others didn't.

wow some of those are brutal. It's really a mixed bag in there, many complaints about offline being boring.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
So a preview vs a review? I'm sorry, but previews mean CRAP when put up against reviews, and that's saying a lot given the crap that reviews themselves are.

The version with bundled CD has this :
The bad : Shorter than the 100 hours promised, maps and cities too big = sensation of emptines, story good but not great plus the fact it ends with a cliffhanger = sens of incompletion for the player, they don't like charadesign of the male characters and find the game monotonous.
The good : Great liberty in customisation character design, combos, great varitety of competences to expand. They like the fact to be able to use any of the parties as lead during exploration/battles. Wide range of environements and pleasant to look at, music is really good. Online game is appreciated, notably the fact to be able to collect items and bring them back in the story mode. Very few loading time seamless exploration.

"Perhaps most impressive, though, is the four-player co-op gameplay." "Maybe this will be the game to finally elevate Free Radical from "good" to "great"" So lets not get too excited just yet... |
different reviewers, different writers, different people. besides that the first 2 points are right

legend11 never really stated a point, you can assume he was questioning 1ups credibility of previews/reviews. and even if you assume that there is no denying that the controls in haze were sloppy nor can you deny the best part of haze was its 4 player co-op (well you could but thats just silly). thus meaning they bring truth to the previews which if you relate that to the wkc preview means they have certain aspects of wkc correct and its not as bad as famitsu rated it. and imo was rated a few points lower just because of voice chat stuff and other related online parts of wkc but 29/40 isnt really that bad 72% which is a passing grade in most grading scales
