Actually, Too Human wasn't that bad. Shadowrun would be a better turd to use instead of Too Human.

As far as LBP, yes, it is selling, but the folks dissing it the loudest are remarking about how much of a system seller it would be, how it would sell 5M and be the game to turn the PS3's misfortune around. No one is denying that LBP is a success, but not the success as some of our fellow VGCharterz had claimed it to be. That's all.

And there's a huge gap between 500K and 5M.

Something else I want to state, why oh why is Left 4 Dead not getting this praise? It is selling the same if not a tiny bit more (because it isn't launched in Japan) as LBP and it doesn't even have any unofficial bundles.

I figured it out, people are not jealous of LBP, its just a game that if they truly wanted they would buy a PS3 for, to be jealous of LBP it would need to have propelled the PS3 to new heights. Something that has not happened.

Look at Halo ... PS3 fanboys must get a lump in their throat looking at what a non nintendo game can do. PS3 hyped this to the top .... and 360 fan/fanboys are only saying "its not reached a million yet" "not selling as well as I had expected" and the sony fans/fannboys say,  "its doing BRILLIANT for a new IP" ect ect, thats not what they were chanting a few months ago.

There hasn't been any hate from 360 fans. Just comments comparing its sales to date and what was expected of it.

Thats now my take on things.

The facts are that LittleBigPlanet is a new IP, an innovative game that many said would fail because it is too 'kiddish' and geared toward an audience that didn't exist on the Playstation 3. The sales figures of the game to date clearly show the game as a success, as it is currently sitting just shy of the 1.5 million copies sold milestone and is continuing to sell well.

I find it ironic that LBP is getting dubbed "too kiddish" along with people saying it is a "casual game".  Sackboy is VERY cute, but we are talking old school platformer here.  There are levels that are just plain HARD.  You have to be borderline fanatical to use the level also.  I would argue the title is a cult title, by its nature and how it had sold.

And on this note, I wish there was a Clank Sackboy, so I could combine two of my favorite Playstation characters.  Or, at least get a Sackboy keychain.  Ahh, but apparently being a cult title, I doubt I will get these trinkets.

Anyhow, I am annoyed that Sony keeps taking the LBP meets Tetris off the LBP server.  Tetrin.jp was awesome, and unavailable now.  GRRR!

It all began when a couple of people said that the game would sell like 10 million or so and that it will be huge and when it finally released alot of people said it was a flop and etc, etc.

I think it is selling quite good and it is already a million seller but it is too early to talk about legs.

4 ≈ One

People were called haters because they balked at sales estimates for LBP that were 5 million+. I mean how many times did we hear, "LBP will be huge!"? Now they are being called haters because they are calling SOME of the Sony fanboys out on their unrealistic estimates.

If there is fault here i would say it rests on the shoulders of the trigger happy sony fanboy hype machine, that are a little too quick to rest the future hopes of the PS3 on a single game. Why not just be happy that PS3 has another feather in it's cap rather that be dissappointed that LBP didn't bring about the end of days as some crazy fans predicted.
