Yep, completely deserves it.

I'm very surprised at the nominees. Several that I would put up there... aren't.

Haven't played MGS4 and don't intend to. Oh well.

Don't have the time to watch the video because my internet is being slow, but for Braid to even be nominated alongside other full-release games speaks volumes about its quality.

The most deserving game for sure won. Not just in my opinion but also public opinion, at least based on the polls from the site. No one has to agree with it but I personally believe MGS4 is the greatest game I've ever played and am glad to see it graced with the title of GOTY.

So... why are terrible games like No More Heroes and Resistance nominated instead of LittleBigPlanet and Gears 2?

 All four of those games had the same score, I guess Gamespot just preffered R2 and No More Heroes. I personally do not agree, but hey, at least I agree with the winner! :)

Resistance 2 isnt a terrible game okeydokey, well atleast to ign and gamespot its better than gears 2..

LBP though should be in that list.
