Forums - Nintendo - How many Wii owners have played a Monster Hunter games?

Im not steering clear of anything.

*sigh*

Look thats basically what people (fanboys) would say. Ha we stole Monster Hunter from PS3 its doomed blah blah blah. There was no deep meaning behind the damn word.

Most haven't. I have.

The big reason why it would be important to know more about Monster Hunter because it is very difficult to play and isn't too control friendly (no lock-on button for attacks, you just hope you're facing the right direction)

Both PSP games were very fun, but I can't imagine them being too big in the US.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

So the hell what? Any fanboy would say that if they percieved their system "stole" a game. HD fanboys gloat over every game not on the Wii. 360 fans gloated over "stealing" exclusivity from the Final Fantasy series.

Or are you assuming there are more fanboys than people who genuinely would like to see the game? If so, get out.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

another question to ask is when the MH series jumped from PS2 to handhelds, how many PSP fans knew about it? not many judging from the crappy sales of the PS2 one, but mysteriously it did well......

I wonder if that is a very similiar situation to this one.....

saying that "wii owners won't get it b/c they're casuals" is very pompous and annoying.

I will level with you.  I have a Wii, and I am not even sure if I heard of Monster Hunter before.  I can not remember playing a game by that name so take that for what itis worth.

The old, "what we like is too good for the masses to get," crap.
