i played it on the PSP

there were 3 HD only games that i wanted on wii: a dead rising, a monster hunter and a RE4 like resident evil. 2 down 1 to go

I mean FF7 sold heaps more then FF3.  Like 6 million more... and JRPGs aren't exactly mass consumption stuff.

FF7 sold and was liked by pure will of advertising.

I don't think MH3 will get the same 100 million dollar treatment though.

Lies, I enjoy the MH games.  But yeah, they are hard, and I don't put as much time into them as people like DMJ do.  I've only played both games for a total of maybe 30 hours.  I'm hoping to get more time with MHP2 soon though.

This is were you whole point goes down, most of the people (at least here) are hyped because the Wii is getting better support from devs, yes there is people who never played the game, but they look more happy about getting a game that sold well on another platform rather than "yeah, we are stealing it from you", and probably you are confused about the use of the word stealing... 

I haven't played a MH game, and had no interest in it being on the Wii until I asked DMeisterJ what it was about, so now I am keeping an eye on it.

I played some of the original on the ps2 and it intrigued me but I never got around to buying it. The first one that I did actually buy was MHF2 and really only got that when a group of students at the school where I teach convinced me to get it so I could hook up with them on missions ;P I do have to say it is something I would enjoy if only you could connect online and not just on ad-hoc.
