Oh and the words you and Soriku are looking for is called violence of factions. The opinions of the few being imposed on the opinions of the majority. Another more common word is the conformity of public opinion. It's a danger in any society that recognizes freedom of speech.

Once again its where my little rant gets its reason. I wrote this because people can't let opinions get in the way of justice. There was no justice with what people did to Wii Music which was another main thing I saw. There was no justice with people calling LBP a flop. People need to be concerned with what's right every now and then if not always.

Exactly. And to think people actually have the nerve to think that the most important aspect of sales isn't marketing. It's a multi-billion dollar operation in every industry for a reason. Sure as hell is in politics.

Of course they use money to manipulate others into hype beyond belief. Too me its worse when regular people on forums do it for free for their own self-interests. That's just disturbing.

People should hype things up or down but they need to be at least modest, especially if they've never played it.

Good read Zucas really, I don't understand why ANYONE would be so loyal to a corporation that they have to attack another corporation when all they're doing is wasting time out of their short existences on this Earth to just go blue in the face over video games =P they're fun if it's your life calling work in the industry, help other people out, and for God's sake enjoy all the video games you can, if not then be happy you get to game have the consoles you like have fun but there's no reason to take gaming sales, game ratings, etc so personal, go for the facts and love what you love.

For me personally I do help out the industry, I got my part time job while in college in game retail, I do my articles for this site, then I do beta testing for a lot of games, and my personal opinions and respect are typically swayed by quality, to that there are a short list that I truly respect and would put my reputation on the line for, Nintendo being one, Blizzard another, Valve third, and probably Insomniac or Capcom then the few creators like Miyamoto, Suda, Itoi (Earthbound), etc.

I completely agree with everything you said to say some of the things people say is ignorance and just a waste of time and they're just wasting their lives sitting on forums that will eventually have a family to take care of and will lose interest in games and then wonder why they ever wasted all that time and money on games when they could have been doing much more productive things, then when they have kids that are older they get into gaming and maybe something like Wii comes around to bring them into gaming again and cycle is born anew with fanboys of that time hating "teh casuals"
