I haven't played on live this week but before that I never had many lag problems in versus. I'm wondering if the X-mas holiday has strained the servers. L4D has dedicated servers for online.

while we are on the subject how long is Left 4 Dead's single player part. i can normally add about 4 or 5 hours to shooters compared to most peoples play time.
