Forums - Nintendo - How bad is the language in COD:WAW on Wii?

I just do not play games with loads of cursing, and I was really disappointed at the rating on COD:WAW when I went to look at it and it was labeled with strong language.  I was really looking forward to this after playing MOH2, but now I am not sure that I will even get it.  Can someone fill me in on what it is like?  Thanks.

It has the occasional F-Bombs from the US Marines, but it isn't too bad...its bloodier than the language is bad

you can turn off the language. At least on the PS3 version... I am guessing on the Wii for sure.

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Yeah, like Bigjon said, you can turn off the blood and cursing. I'd give it a rent to make sure the disable is good enough, since I don't have blood and cursing turned off, so I don't know how much it changes things.

Is the filter option there for the Wii version? Can you turn off the cursing and not the blood, or does it turn off both at the same time? If you have the game on Wii and do not know then will you try it and let me know. Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure on the violence but I know that you can definitely turn off the bad language.  You can definitely turn off the language and not the violence.

Oh boy bad language is really not a problem, their are some other things that are way more shocking.

If you do not like the cussing and blood, then this game is not for you sorry. The whole point of the game is for that. Second there is not really any bad language or blood at all.

Am I reading this wrong, or does the last two sentences in this post contradict eachother? If the point of the game is for those things, why would it  be absent?
