Forums - Sony - I think Sony should make PSP screen touch sensitive

They can either implement it in PSP 4000 or PSP 2, whatever their next iteration is. It will boost the sales nicely since the virtual keyboard will be just like the real deal and make the internet browsing experience less awkward. They should also include additional functionalities like GPS, google map, and maybe even a cell phone functionality.

Not going to happen, maybe in next-gen PSP. Even after more than 4 years PSP has yet to have a price drop in Japan, and it hasn't had one for a few years here, so that's going to happen when they decide to increase the sales.

THIS

Why not change its name to psp 2, or PSPhone while your at it.

mM

It would be a pointless waste of money in my opinion.

Save it for the next psp.

i hope they dont' if used not more than interface.

for games its clumsy especially if they want to use fingers. i have enough problems trying to clean the buttons :P

I hope the kill of UMD, it's a POS . Well, not the discs themselves, but the cases, they freakin' break apart too easy. Sites even sell replacement cases.

Why not just make psp2 with the bigger memory umd format, but with a slot loading drive? now there's a winner...

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

Built in hard-drive is the best way to go, easiest for the consumers. It might disappoint some of the more hardcore people that do lots of transferring and downloading, but those people aren't what Sony really needs.

Touch sensitive is okay, but it's nothing too special. Some new type of control scheme, like a portable being based off easy to add peripherals for different style of games. I don't know, something new.

They have to kill the UMD all together... Handheld gaming has to be efficient in energy, noise and loading times, that's why it's called portable... And the UMD drive cuts in those areas... if you don't believe me, use a hacked OS, dump the UMDs in a Memory Card and play from there, you'll see the difference...

they shouldn't do it now, but i bet they wish they would have done it long ago. One of the huge reasons for DS' success is because of all of the unique games that can only be possible on ds because of the pen, a big part of that is educational games.
