Dude, as I said in the OP, "I want to buy this game!" and I plan on doing it at midnight of the launch :D I can't really explain my excitement for it!

This is the game that will draw in fans of COD and fans of halo...If it has multiplayer it should be able to beat everything on xbox live.

 1. No, I can't confirm that and have no real proof. However, I have read what is presently known about this game and have made an opinion based on those facts. When it is said to be a slow tactical game, I safely assume that it will not have the fast pase of the previous games. Also, the swords and hammerzeits are arguably fast melee weapons, and although it is not confirmed that they won't be in the game, I find it hard to believe they will be incorporated in the game, at least not like they currently are. The fact is that the game has been confirmed to be a tactical game which are slow by nature and either way they are obviously steering away from the formula that makes Halo work. It's hard to argue with 9 million users who bought the game that the formula of previous halo games work. But instead of asking me these questions I think you should be asking why everything with the name Halo should get a free ride and not be questioned. I am a HUGE Metal Gear Solid fan but I didn't give Metal Gear Acid a free ride. In fact I hated those games and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

2. Someone mentioned a map pack coming with Halo Wars which will be priced at $60.00 and I was commenting on that. Sorry that I did not specify.  

 Well since you like facts so much, here's one for you. What I stated was my own opinion of the game and what we know of it thus far. My opinion of the game may change with fourthcoming facts, but realistically I'm one of the only rational people in this thread to actually question it. What do we know about this game other then it has Halo in the name and is suposed to be more tactical without shileds? Nothing. Based on what we do know it's fact that the formula is not the same as previous Halo games. It's said to be a different type of game by the devs for christ sakes! But I get nothing but moaning from you guys from questioning it when the only reason you blindly like it is because it has halo in the title! You can't like it for any other reason because we know nothing about it!

So here's a fact, if I hadn't come in this thread it would be nothing but a bunch of fanboys circle jerking over a video game they have no real knowledge about.
