It seems to me that they are taking away all of the things that makes halo, halo. No master chief. No shileds. No fast easy user friendly gameplay, instead replaced by a slow stealthy tactical gameplay (If that's what we wanted then Ghost Recon would have sold 9 million copies! not halo!). No swords, no hammerzeits. This should just be called Ghost Recon advanced halo.

My God Microsoft are some smart SOBs. They make games that by any other name nobody would want, add Halo to the title, throw in a map pack and people go crazy. Nobody sees they are being duped, everyone buys, microsoft makes money, players get expensive as hell maps. God gamers are so stupid. They complain about DLC for games bitching that the games are incomplete but can't see this rip off right in front of them. Why should players have to buy a $60 game that most likely won't interest them for some new maps? That is one of the most sleezy things I've seen this gen.

Um Halo:ODST is not like Ghost Recon at all. Bungie has said that countless times.

Then don't buy the game. The maps will be available later. I for one want to play halo wars for the game

The game will be a very good one, like all Halo games.

And like all other Halo games it will:
1. Have genious marketing.
2. Sell a ton (think 4M by EOY 09)
3. Become the new king of XBox Live MP.
4. Have a bunch of whiners that will complain that the game under delivered.

I agree with the thread starter , bungle should have a proper "full" game ready 2 years after halo3.

 Each of the Halo games have had a 3 year gap, so I don't agree with that. But I do think it would be better to put time into developing Halo 4 instead of this title. Regardless, if Bungie said it's a rip off of Ghost Recon or not, that's sure damn well what it seems to be turning into, and why would they admit that?
