As we've seen so far, Nintendo shipped a whole lot of units this holidays.

Are they airshipping them against this too, exhausting supply for January?

I think we will see a sharp drop in sales again this year since they did have a sudden spike in supply for this holidays.

There is bound to be a drop with christmas gone, but i doubt the drop will be cataclysmic....

Ironic. I just said that in Big Jon's thread. Likely they'll have airlifted straight from the factories again to meet demand which will result in artificially low January sales.

Depends. It could be a smoother drop than last year seeing as how Nintendo seems to finally be trying to keep the shelves stocked. It could also be a sharper drop since the market got flooded with Wiis to meet the demand thus pushing sales higher, all the more to fall when sales go back to regular.

I do think that sales will settle at a higher point though.

Yeah.... they ramped up production alot this season.... so maybe it won't be so bad...

There will be an obvious drop, but I don't think to the same extent as last year. They are producing waay more now than they were then.
