Yay??

Right, theres a lot of confusion in this thread. Is this a price cut or not?

@ stubbs: it's not a price cut, it's like the holiday devaluations and actions.

We could get "5 old games with a PS3", "2 games and an extra controller", and now another shop has decided to do this one.

Just a store-based sales attempt.

If the price jumps back up to 399 then the next three months sale will be absolutely abysmal.

It's also in the Netherlands.. at more stores then one.. I even used the same picture...

but we weren't sure if it was only in the netherlands... but it doesn't seem so..

@ dolemit: belgium outsells the netherlands (some 7 million people more live in the Netherlands) when looking at PS3 sales. I doubt they would suffer much.

Not in the Netherlands... We have confirmed at least 6 different stores.. Intertoys, Bart Smit, E-Plaze, Saturn, MediaMarkt & BCC.. who has a price cut.. some have the 300 pack for 299 others the game packs for 333..

I can't see this being a "let's keep it at this price at all times"-move though. Holidays, overstock perhaps, ...

Read the other thread.. This guy working at Saturn got a mail from Sony... so who knows? Will they send a second mail saying to put the price back to 399??
