@Kaz, yeah I see what your saying, but I don't think Sony even published Haze >_>;;; The hype for it wasn't massive... and as much as I love free radical, that game sucked :/ Ever since that day man... I dunno, I take they're reviews with a grain of salt. Play is a magazine that is more than generous to games, and they're the most respected review source for me. Famitsu is just something else xD

That's what i'm saying though.  You can't trust the good reviews... the bad ones though.... I mean play is the same way... with their like 90-100 rating they gave lair or whatever.

Footage looks interesting. I plan on checking it out when it releases.

I don't really pay much attention to Famitsu. Based on score along, didn't they give a 13 to Mass Effect?

@Kaz Yeah I'm followin ya now, took me a few to click >_>;;;

I dunno, it is made by level 5, and while I'd think they couldn't really mess up they're own genre, look what Free Radical did xD I will just have to wait on some other reviewers, because I just don't know what to believe from Famitsu :P But as it stands now it looks pretty good, and I have very little reason to doubt L5.

Yeah, i'm not saying the game will suck or anything.  Just saying there is good reason to be hesitant considering how nice famitsu usually is.

Final Fantasy XII-2 confirmed??

Seriously though, the game looks great, and I loved FFXII, so I should be happy with it.

They gave it a 14, mostly for

lack of "grind and seriousness, constant action, and the difficulty in "finding the proper dialog path for the true ending"

Boy, do they like grinding in Japan.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

Yeah, I'll say that based on they're mass effect review, they just don't know what the hell they're talking about. Mass effect 14, Haze was like a 37 or something? I dunno. Skrew famitsu xD Mass Effect had gallons more hype, and although I thought the technical issues were atrocious, it was a much better game than Haze.

This is pretty awesome stuff. Can't wait.

I wish these forums would decide if we all trust Famitsu or not. Because I was under the impression that before noone trusted them. But WKC gets a less than stellar review and suddenly all the true Famitsu believers come out of the woodwork. bah.

OT: I'll have to check this out later, but I am definitely looking forward to this game, as I do any JRPG. We'll see how good it is whenever it gets over here.

edit: the above is not directed at you Nightsurge, just my annoyance at the situation.  Though if you argue that Famitsu is trustworthy than it is directed at you.

When something is useful for people's agenda, they believe it.  When it is not, they don't.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
