If you call MS customer support they will send you a transfer cable and disk for free. Got mine in 5 business days. All you have to do is call them, give them your console serial number, and they will send the cable.

You can always go to your gamertag download history and re-download you prior items. Anything and everything you have ever downloaded, purchased, ect, is listed under it. I mainly needed the cord to transfer music, and a few saved games (have a memory card too).

 What can u recommend to my mom? She can play Bejeweled (and the old Boulder Dash if u ever heard of it) but I fink Hexic is too hectic or complicated for her lol.

If she can play Bejeweled she can definitely play Zuma. That's my primary recommendation.

Also some really quality puzzlers that are easy to get into are:

Poker Smash(Fantastic and highly underrated game. My favorite puzzle game on Live.)
Hexic(At least let the woman try it out. You never know.)
Tetris Splash(Nothing innovative about this version, but it's still Tetris.)
Meteos Wars(I haven't played this yet. Can't comment on quality. Reviews are good though.)

Those are my top five. DL trials for her to give them a shot. Puzzle games are easy to figure out from a trial whether you will like it or not.

Nice glad you helped Microsoft with a sell rather than borrowing a friend's 360.

I was going to do the same with my sisters. I was going to give them my Nintendo Wii since I rarely play it and it collects dust. I have only one game for it which is Super Mario Galaxy, so giving it away not only benefits me but its in Christmas spirit :)

Again glad you got your own, its nothing like owning your own console.

 No.. The game modes are so simple I wanna cry. But then I prefer a lot more advanced multiplayer shooters, such as the incredible Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.

Dont forget to do this. After I got my 360 back from MS I could not acess any of my video downloaded content because the liscences were not registered to my new console. Its also irritating when live or your ISP goes down cause you cant acess arcade games when your not signed into live.
