Well let me slightly retract. Connery may be a better Bond, but I feel the better writing in the new Bond films gives Craig an edge. He just has better material to work with overall. He surely isn't doing a bad job as James Bond though, and if he isn't the best, he's undoubtedly the second best.

EDIT: I actually dislike the new series with a passion *as Bond movies*.. they are good action movies with okay stories, but to me, they feel nothing like Bond movies at all
