well the game is sold out everywhere I look. I do not see how a game can be selling out in places, yet only doing 25k in all of NA.........

It was definitely at $100 for a moment, I can confirm it. But it looks like they fixed it.

If you follow the click through, the price is $49.99 as always, though Amazon is out of stock. And the box for the Activision deal is on that page as well.

Though I noticed it as out of stock at a Gamestop, a Target, and a Wal-Mart today. So I hope the theory that is doing better than we think might have some validity.

If you search Call of Duty from the amazon homepage, it show in the long list of COD's avail at $100, but if you follow the link it is at $49.99, and is out of stock atm. That's why the used copies are $50.

In my Amazon experience, there was probably an outside vendor selling thru amazion at $100, and amazon either removed them, or they sold out at that price (hard to believe that one though)

Online shopping :

Target, Toys R Us, Amazon, Circuit City are all out of stock on this....

Walmart, Best Buy in stock @49.99, Gamestop is in stock at $39.99 (they dropped all 3 console versions prices by $10)

They are now advertising this version of the game a lot. I have not see one PS360 version advertised once. So if sales are up on the game I am happy!

I'm seeing $100 as well. If this game really is selling out, this is great news for FPS fans as there will be more of them on the Wii.

I'm not. I still can't find a bloody copy anywhere. Grrr...

It's sold pretty much 50k every week for the past 5 weeks to hit 250k
It could still hit over a million easily, in fact Others sales have gone up every week since launch
