What are your views? I think it suck as I own only PS3 and there is no reason why not to put on PS3.

I feel the same way about MGS4 and Heavy Rain.  It's good to see that we agree in matters like this.

I can see where you're going with the first one, but why? Kojima wanted to make a game for the PS3 because he wanted it to be specialised. The quality of an exclusive on the PS3 is far higher than that of a multiplat, on average. If he made it on 360, he would have to spend another year developing it, and nobody would buy it!

I have no idea where you're coming from with Heavy Rain, though. Sony owns the rights to that game, Sony is funding the development, how could it end up on 360? It's like Gears of War.

OT: I think it's pathetic, really. Exclusive DLC is lame, what's even lamer is when people say it's a full game. Do you hear us calling BioShock Challenge Rooms a game?

Depends on how substantial it is. If the new campaign is comparable in size to the original, I'd say that's pretty reasonable. If it's just a handful of new missions revolving around these new characters (and what a waste that would be), then not so much.

Better than good it is great. It is why I bought the 360 version instead of the PS3 version. There is another motorcycle gang action adventurer coming out though. It is called Ride to Hell.

Can't hardly wait for Mafia II either.

Although I expect GTA IV to remain my favorite crime sandbox game of this gen for a long time because of this:

Heavens to Murgatoids.

I think there's every chance that The Lost and the Damned will be close in length to the original GTA IV's story because they are using the same city template, etc. And since they won't have to rebuild much of that main structure that leaves plenty of room for the design of a new story with different missions within that city.

Heavens to Murgatoids.

my honest view,
people played GTA4 to death and finished it, the dlc is coming more than 6 months later, is there an incentive to play additional missions right now ??? i mean it was smarter to release the dlc like 1 or 2 months after the release of the game, when the game was already hot property,, but now, is there anyone who will buy the 360 version just to play the dlc ??? hmmmm not me, i mean the one who want the dlc already bought there 360 copy,, and 50 million is amhuge sum of money for such dlc

Currently Playing: Final Fantasy XIII (PS3), White Knight Chronicles (PS3), PES 2010 (PS3), Killzone 2 (PS3)

Games to Finish: Silent hill Homecoming (PS3), Valkyria Chronicles (PS3), Oblivion (PS3)

how many retards can vgchartz handle at once?

Note: Some games in my collection are no longer owned, but have owned.

That's what I'm thinking. And hoping for, along with an appearance by Brucie!

Lol no PS3 just has blu ray and more CPU power needed for these games

??????????????????????'...

Proof that some PS3 fanboys are biased fanatics.

The guy doesn't sound like a biased fanatic at all. It honestly doesnt seem like he means to troll. He is probably just not as well informed as you.

OT: The Lost and the Damned is looking to shape up beatifully. Unfortunately you will not be able to play it on your PS3 because MS bought the exclusivity rights. I do believe you will get some form of DLC love from Rockstar, but it will not be this one.

@BTFeather - It would be absolutley amazing if this story is as long as GTAIV itself.

@ Legend11

f there is such a gap between the PS3 and 360 then why doesn't it show it like the Xbox and PS2?

Because they are more similar in architecture. The XBox was like a cut down PC and was being developed for as such, the PS2's architecture was far more exotic and you couldn't do with straight PC ports without yielding bad results (too different).

Did you miss the part where I mentioned that games built from the ground up for the PS2 still looked better when they were ported to the Xbox?  That was the case for every multi-platform game.  That simply isn't the case when it comes to the PS3.  Even games built from the ground up for the 360 should look better on the PS3 if it was truly more powerful like the Xbox was to the PS2.

Did you miss where Microsoft gave Rockstar a $50 million dollar loan to help make 2 episodes of GTV4 for the 360?  This may not be outright giving away of money like Sony has done for Heavy Rain but it's still giving money to Rockstar in advance.  And in business $50 million dollars today is worth more than $50 million dollars next year so Microsoft did indeed give away at least some money for it.
