Really. Maybe its a frisbee. Or a multi-drink coaster. Or a toaster. Could be anything I guess... just not a gaming machine.
I think its hype is due to the bandwagon. just like how america had pogs. no one knew how to play those chips but crap everyone had to have them...... or wait beanie babies.... just saying

The source it comes from doesn't automatically make it rubbish. I completely agree with it and I've owned every single Nintendo console. The author says that Nintendo's approach has been brilliant from a financial standpoint and declares it an unquestionable success. It's the identity of the Wii that he questions.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.

No I'm a gamer. I don't buy every electronic out there or mess with PC tech specs like the rest of yall. I stick to gaming machines and thats it. But of course, with the Wii, I guess I am a gadget whore now. Because obviously its not a gaming machine anymore despite that being the only thing it does.
The Wii is totally a Gizmo guys, come on!

This is a troll thread and nothing more, just look at where he got his link.
I'm going to start counting the minutes you have left before you get banned, or if you're lucky, just this thread locked.

Do our gadgets make us glide like Batman or are they second-rate gimmicks?
