Forums - Nintendo - Carnival Games may be a trend setter

I present Circus Games, from Ubisoft.

I saw an ad for this game yesterday on TV, and I just think it's funny that Carnival Games has gotten big enough that Ubisoft values it important enough to copy now. But after poking around Amazon.com, I found this as well.

Apparently Activsion wants in on this as well. I think Raph Koster once said something about the herd mentality of game designers and it's entertaining to see even Carnival Games is getting cheap imitators. As if being set at a Carnival or Circus was the only reason it was a success. =P

Sad. So sad. Worse is that by comparison they make Carnival Games look good.

Both of those games bombed though, nothing can beat Carnival games and game party...

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

Obviously, Ubisoft had to follow the trend... >_>

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

the shrek one might just sell...

Like it's already been said, these titles do not have the staying power of the original so I doubt this copy trend will continue.
