You had your Wii for 18 months.

So either: you have only recently turned it onto WFC24 OR you have fewer updates over there in New Zealand OR you somehow managed to update manually before Nintendo sent the message out (a gap of maybe an hour or 2 I think)

Yeah I was playing with the settings earlier and turned it on.

Tease.

Your Wii is trying to tell you it's winning the console wars, so it's flashing with happiness.

Good suggestions people! I would reply individually but then theres the spam trophy Soriku wants to keep. Speaking of Soriku im surprised he hasn't spammed this thread yet.

Soriku? Spam? What!? His 47 million posts have all been carefully constructed pieces of loveliness damn it!

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

"Go buy World of Goo."

Im kinda scared to turn it on. I want someone to tell me whats happening before I pick up the Wiimote.

You have an email telling you about the greatness that is World of Goo, just what dib8rman said.

Well then there you go.... you Wii is long overdue, the blue light is it crying for an update because you neglected it.

(you may have had updates included within some bought games, but it depends what games you buy so you might actually be down on 18 months of updates)

Something like that happened to me about a week after I bought my Wii. Except the blue light just stayed on the whole time I was playing until I turned it off, it was kind of weird.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

You need more friends on your Wii...

Squilliam; I'd reccomend you participate in nonames events:

Then the 'Blue Light' will give you a warm feeling, almost like love - but warmer.

He did, which is why I originally wondered why he didn't know about the warm, soft, gentle glow of the blue light...
