can anyone decribe or link me to some gameplay that shows what the difference are? this is about the upcomming ff games. on wikpedia it says ff13 is a console rpg and ff versus 13 is a action rpg. i never liked fruity asian games like ff but versus loooks sick.

Action RPG usually means real-time battle system, RPG - some kind of turn-based (ATB, if you consider it turn-based, often used in main FF games), the latter is more traditional for console RPGs.
