Resistance IS a great game, getting an average of a 9-9.5 is good.

Resistance isn't a "great" game.  It's a good game that has an 87.7% rating on gamerankings.com.  Which is in line with other good games such as GRAW 2 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma.  I know you only post pro-sony stuff and generally bash other systems so in the interest of the truth somebody should set you straight.

<> By the way, an average of 9-9.5 would be about 92-93% ratings.

GT gave it a 9.0

IGN gave it a 9.1

GS gave it an 8.6

Gameinformer gave it a 9.5

So dont talk squat about resistance! Whats this about bashing consoles? Never in my life have I bashed any console(in these forums).

Thanks for the charts mrstickball, its nice to see some of the games not dropping by alot in sales over the week.

RFoM is a great game with a solid storyline, great multiplayer and the best weapons i have ever seen in any game. The maps for online play are far better then the standard FPS maps that you find in PC games. RFoM is not given enough credit for what it brings to the table.

I expect R:FoM to still do well on the PS3 for quite some time in the US, and to a lesser extent in Europe.

Realilistically, the only FPS that will come out that has a shot at "stealing" sales from it is Call of Duty 4, as I would put it as one of the few story-driven FPS shooters comparible. There are tons others, but I don't really see how they'll hurt it.

IMO, even though everyone will praise the various other PS3 games out there, both current and upcoming, Resistance has done very, very, very well not only considering the genre, but the software tier ratios as well. The PS3 has around a 2.5 ratio worldwide (this is just my assumption, it's around 1.5 in Japan, and 3.0 in the US). This means that more than 10% of every game sold is Resistance. It should keep selling well throughout the rest of the year. 2m LTD sales worldwide should be a certainty - how much else it sells is unknown to me. A budget re-release could help a bit, or not much (atleast in comparison to the install base).

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
