My bet is never, to be honest.

After Christmas, even if the two stay at the same sales ratio, then absolute difference will decrease. MK:Wii sales will also probably start to decrease a bit during early '09 (it can't have legs forever, right??)

Those two factors combined should keep the PS3 ahead until it drops in price, and after that the next opportunity for MK:Wii to outsell the PS3 will be next generation, when the PS3 has stopped selling and the Wii is enjoy the same success the PS2 currently has. But by then the PS3 will be on at least 50 million, which MK cannot match

At the rates given above, it would take about 22-23 weeks, and both would be at around 27.7M at that time. But those are holiday rates!
