You said you can spent 800 bucks, don't blame if you can't run crysis at maximum on it. Blame Crytek for making Crysis the most spec-eater game in history.

 

So, in other words...you can't name five games that look as good as any of those games on a PC that costs twice as much.

I'm all for you getting Heavenly Sword....once it goes Greatest Hits. I bought it when it first came out, and felt ripped off after I finished it in 6.5 hours, despite having had a great time while playing it.  For $30, though, it's a great deal.

 

I didn't feel ripped off at all. It was short, but I enjoyed every second. It's like fine wine. Only lasts you a meal or two but it's amazing every second.

Most multiplatform games + Crysis. I think that totals to a total of quite a bit over 5.

People tend to overlook commercial success of this game. Despite it's a new IP it outsold such heavy hitters as Devil May Cry 4 (single platform) or Ninja Gaiden II. Even bundled GoW CoO isn't far ahead.

Personally I find this game extremely fun.

Well I agree, to an extent.  I didn't fell aaht ripped off, and I was gald I made the purchase overall.  But I could see most people feeling a bit gipped when all is said and done.

Check out the demo on the PSN.  It would probably be far more worthwhile than any impressions I could give you, lol.

NGII is actually tracking well below Heavenly Sword, suprisingly:

I feel sorry for NGII.  It deserves more love.  But I guess it's to brutally hardcore for most people.

And while Heavenly Sword barely edges out DMC4 in total sales, it has much better legs:

It sold 25k last week while DMC4 on ps3 only sold ~5k.  This is especially surprising since this is DMC4's first holiday season, and DMC4 dropped to $30 far sooner than Heavenly Sword (as mentioned earlier, Heavenly Sword is STILL $60 in NA).  Not to mention, DMC is the second biggest hack n' slash IP out there, behind only God of War.

This game's legs are amazing.  That's what being published by Sony does, though.  Very few Sony games don't at least break a million.

One of my favourite game this gen. Story, music, animation, characters all exceptional. I would love a trophy patch for this game. Bohan and Flyin Fox are up there with the best characters.
