Falcon is around 10 though it could be lower, Falcon model wasn't out for a long time before Jasper came so it's kinda hard to see the stats. The Jasper model puts it around the same failure rate as PS3, as for Nintendo I dunno...

My friend has this method of fixing broken Nintendo consoles, if it's broken throw it against the wall and it'll work...I've seen him do it to his Gamecube and voila it was fixed...Another time his memory card for GC got corrupted he dumped it into rubbing alcohol and voila it was fixed...I believe Nintendo consoles are naturally masochistic, if you beat it hard enough it'll fix itself..

Sounds like you won a used Xbox 360 (March 12, 2008). Besides modding it, you have no idea what the previous owner did with it or treated it.  Hopefully you did not pay a lot for the raffle ticket.

You could probably sell it as is; some people buy them and try to fix them. You coud also sell it for parts.

You could also pull the Wal Mart trick, rebuy another Elite, get a hair dryer blow on the sticker until it comes off swap stickers, and return it saying it didn't work. Or you could take it to a modder and have them XClamp it to fix the RROD.

sega4life i thought i was the only one who had notice this uncanny trend popping up all of a sudden,since we were getting alot of ps3 doom and gloom,it did not take long huh.and they r always using that 33% hahhahhaa,i will say this the great time my 360 has brought me and it rrods i will,WILL buy another 360 ok after all it is the best system for gaming in my and alot of other people opinion,and i live in the caribbean also,on an island called BARBADOS.and to be honset this story sounds abit suspect just my opinion.

Note: on the back of the console it says it was made on 12/03/2008.

Ummmmm...yeah. You realize you were raffled off a bogus console right? Some friend you got there.

Its funny how 360 boys wanna turn this into a retaliation thing when the thread is made by a Wii boy.

I have a 360 but i hasn't RRoD on me yet Due to one reason and one reason only. I just don't play it for that many long periods of time. The most time i have kept it on was to watch a TV season long DVD.
