IGN doesn't think WoG deserves game of the year. It's not even in their top 5.  Proof:

Left 4 Dead
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

 

 Like I said, I don't have a problem with World of Goo as game of the year.  I have a problem with IGN's passive aggressive reason for choosing it.



PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

In case you did not notice, those were candidates for pc GOTY. Nothing to do with the wii.

Esa-Petteri: World of Goo is available on PC as well.

Yeah, but there are a lot of better pc games than WoG. That is not the case with the wii.

Right, that's the point IGN is trying to make. You at least have the balls to come out and say it, Matt is passive aggressive and doing it through an award show.

Well pc had quite nice goty-nominees, I for one liked every one of those. Well not warhammer, haven't played that. For wii nominees, I never cared for any of them. Maybe it is the case with ign. Did they left some highly reviewed game out of goty-nominees for wii or what are you complaining about?

No, you stop trolling please.  I've read the mod reports from two different people on Esa-Petteri and I came in here expecting a loud obnoxious fanboy, instead this is the only troll post I've found.  Trolling is not someone who disagrees with you and esa has been pretty civil so I haven't had a problem with his posts in this thread.

Now you on the other hand calling him out: don't do that.  If you have a problem with someone, report them and let us handle it please.  When you call people out like that all you are going to do is get yourself a ban/warning.

Lol... He is saying that Wii owners are upset because a game witohut mario on the cover won GOTY award. If that's not trolling then what is that?

All the post Ive seen him make are direct attack or sarcastic insults towards Nintendo. Please you should check out what's going on before telling me Im wrong.
