We've managed to get our hands on a pre-release batch of SingStar wireless microphones and we're giving 100 SingStar fans the chance to test them out before anyone else! Out next year, the official SingStar wireless microphones will work on both PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 and allow you to really bust out your moves without busting your console.

Sony got their fingers out of their asses. I guess LIPS gave them a kick in the balls.
I'm perplexed as to why they are doing this for the PS2 though. It's not a problem doing it, sure. I just hope that, if they use a USB Wireless connector on the PS2, they wont be using that for the PS3 version. Or at least make it optional, if they want to make a package that works on both PS2 and PS3. They did install Bluetooth in the PS3 for a reason after all.
But why shouldn't this be exclusive to the PS3? Give people another reason to upgrade here Sony.
