Yeah, that's the Matilda glitch, I did it once, it means an easy leveling of all character to around level 35 (and Jowy unlocks his 4th Rune slot), and you can even recruit Futch and Humphrey quickly (it's quite funny, they call you Lord when you don't even have the castle)

And, other than Gameshark, I think there are no other ways to get the Black Sword

And, yes, that scene is amazing (though It doesn't happen if you have the 108 stars, right?)

The scene I mentioned though was very marking to me, because it was a whole scene based on waiting. And it is a scene that shows what makes or breaks JRPG. - character development. If you didn't care about Jowy or Nanami or whatever, that scene would've been boring.

But, since you care so much for them, it's a wonderful scee. I have a distinctive memory of being afraid that he wouldn't come back and a feeling of sadness too. This simple scene moved me very much.

Dont need all 108 stars for it to happen.
But for the best ending you need all 108 stars before that scene otherwise...
