Wow. I had no ideal. I never tried it on hard. It was a difficult game on normal. And I see in the third ending everyone survives.

Just looking back on this game makes me remember how good it was. It was one of the first to use cell shading properly, and it had a totally adult oriented story. It was one of my favorites at the time, and I enjoyed the follow up. Too bad they never made another after that.

Yeah, it is a great game. Definitely one of my favorites. It makes me upset that Fear Effect: Inferno never came out on Playstation 2.

Its good to meet someone else out there who has played the game.  It was not a big release and I dont really know anyone else who had it.

Anyhow, the game blew my mind.  The cell shading looked outright awsome.  I had never seen anything like it before.  And the swearing and violence.  I totally loved every part of the game except for maybe the shitty controls and unforgiving load times. But even then it was fun, and the ending was one of the best ever.

Yeah Eternal Darkness - Fighting the last boss, the TV and GC shut off on me. Or so it made it make me think so. There I sat in the dark with the controller in hand, saying "oh f**k, I didnt save in a lon g ass time!" and then like 10 seconds later, the system and tv come back, right where I left off. Im like NO EFFIN WAY!!

um.. ok that was overly cruel :P

but i really disliked gremio. when i was a kid, i had this same kind of nanny who would keep telling me to be careful and put my hands in my pockets all the time and such.

nanami.. NO!! i loved her.. it broke my heart the first runthrough coz I couldn't save her. i researched hard to make sure she would stay alive on my second playthrough :P

basically, gremio just suks. :P

The only thing that I can agree with bugrimmar is that the death was a bit "anticlimatic", I mean, dying being eaten by spores isn't what I consider "a good death". But come on, Gremio was a loyal man till the end, bug, you can't feel good when he dies.

Luckily you can bring him back
