I'd say the first Blinx game! A typical save the princess plot with the characters speaking pseudo-language!

And no, it's about which story is the WORST IYO. Right in the title. I'd say ToS is FFFAAAAAAR from being the worst, in my opinion.

Could you honestly say that ToS had a worse storyline than the one where the president gets kidnapped by ninjas? Or the Zelda Cd-i series? Or Shadow the hedgehog?

Yes, this is about games whose stories you do not like, which is effectively synonymous with stories that are the worst "in your opinion". There is no contradiction here.

I don't find Bad Dudes particularly terrible. Intentionally cliche and corny storylines have never bothered me.

I did not care for the Godfather.

Family guy aside, I didn't particularly enjoy Final Fantasy 7. Granted I played it many years after it was released, I found it to be quite boring and overrated. I honestly felt no emotion when Aeries died. None.

Wouldn't say it's the worst though, since I guess you're suggesting that we can just discuss storylines we just generally disliked

Hmm... Worst one would be Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, only if its relative to the time it came out. They had so many chances to improve and change the storyline, yet it didn't evolve one bit. Everything was exactly the same save for unoriginal, ugly new pokemon and a new league with extremely forgettable gym leaders. I'd say that was the most disappointing storyline.

EDIT: OH SHIT!! How the hell did I forget about the crappy McDonalds game on the NES?!?! The blatant mario rip off where you had to collect the "m archs" for the hamburgler and the... Purple chicken nugget guy.... I think.... But yeah, that was pretty terrible.

Makes me chuckles when I see people say that the story of MGS and God of War aren't good.

I guess they just can't stand a good story.

This post both makes me laugh and cry. I love how this thread is now 3 pages long, and while several people have defended MGS and God of War(although MGS to a much greater extent), but nobody has actually defended it. They've just gone "no ur wrong shut up". Try countering instead, please.

Either way, say what you will about MGS (I'm personally only hung up on MGS4 for ruining the franchise), but God of War's story is nowhere near good. I admit that it may not be the worst story in a game(definitely one of the worst, from the ones I've played, though), but it's not even average.

GoW story is pretty authentic comparing it against greek mythology, IMO. I mean, Kratos is as much idiot as any other hero from Homer's poetry.
