It's a legit concern. Chinatown wars is an interesting step in a new direction for the DS, which has seen some great mature games do not so great in Sales. But none of those games have quite had the potential this one does.

I can't wait to see how it does.

I have no doubt DS attracts core gamers. But I think they pirate games more often than other groups, and I'm wondering how that will affect sales.

You guys can laugh at the guy and post your insignificant opinions about him but he has the sales data to back up his opinion...all he is saying is that the game wont sell more than 500K in the US.

Nowhere did he say that DS is for females...only that games like brain age expanded the handheld market to include females.

So basically he is saying it won't sell just because its Third Party? Makes sense, since the main GTAs are first-party .... OH WAIT!

BTW about Boom Blox and De Blob being flopped, is it true or not? *sigh* Pachter I wonder how he could still paid in all of this? I wish I could have his job sad really :(

hard to think what the game will do. I was thinking about the 5 million number and like "hmm is that high or low" Cause thinking of the great sellers for DS and they are like 20 million, lol.

And thinking of other games "I" buy and most are RPG's which usually don't sell huge MILLIONS in U.S. So I don't know. I hope it does well for the sake of the core gamers that want it and will help bring some good game hopefully to Wii as well.

But whatever for me, as I said in another post. I don't think there is a take two game that I like anyway so meh.

And wow 90+ million girl DS owners. I must be the lucky few guys who has it and should go on DS chat and go on the prowl for some cuties.
