For some people that is the only game they want for the PS3.

So you can:

1. Buy a $400 PS3 and then a 50 dollar game

OR

2. Support the game going to the 360 and only buying the 50 dollar game.

Some people don't want to take the risk and buy a console soley on one game. And with money tight these days I wouldn't say that it isn't a safe bet.
